Siloam Family Support Group
[Glory be to God; Peace to Men] Living Grace Christian Community Counseling Ministry
*The Pool of Siloam (John 9:7,11)
(1)"Siloam", the word means "sent"; we are people sent by God to support each in this group.
(2)"Pool" represent the power of healing when people come and wash in the pool.
*Livinggrace is therefore here to:
(1)Recruit a group of Christians. Let us dedicate ourselves here, learn together, serve together in this very Siloam Support Group to accompany those sexually broken and their families.
(2)Invite those confused by their sex identification, homosexuality, specially those family members. Let us come and share and support each other in this Siloam Group. Trusting in the power of our Almighty God, whosoever believes and is willing to come shall experience the healing. Just as the man blind from birth, and he said "Jesus told me to go to Siloam and wash. And I went and washed, and then I could see"
*Goals of the Siloam Support Group:
(1) To provide a safe place in the Chinese community for those facing issues of homosexuality and their families.
(2)Participants may share and support with each other. You will learn how to face such a sensitive issue . Trusting in Jesus’ love, you will be accepted as a creation of God. Family members will know how to accept your loved one in an appropriate way, not losing opportunities, not giving up. Instead we will work hand by hand, based on the biblical principles, believe in healings from God. As we learn to be obedient to God, miracle will happen and we will see "Glory be to God and Peace be to Men."
*Meeting Time: 7:00 - 9:30pm, every first Thursday of the month.
